   WHO AM I   

I am a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.  I first started my career in 1988 with Visa International in Foster City as a technical writer and trainer.  Later I became a Change Manager and assisted global software implementations and training development and implementation.  Later I worked in HR and headed the training department to develop and implement Desktop Computer training in the US and Western Europe.

In 1991 I acquired his California Real Estate License and purchased my own house.  In the following 5 years, I purchased several investment properties in Northern California and in Nevada.  I know what good property management means to someone who has invested in real estate.

In 1998 I started my own mortgage business and as a Certified Mortgage Planner maintained that business for 15 years.

In 2004 Mark attended his first BNI meeting and wanted to join.  Because his business category was taken in the local chapter, he started a second local BNI chapter, which is still in existence today

.

In 2012, Mark left the mortgage business and entered the Real Estate world again as a Realtor, Leasing Agent, and Property Manager.

Since 1996, I have had extensive training and holds certificates in Sales, Human Relations, and Communications Skills, as well as Advanced Presentation Skills through the world-renowned Dale Carnegie Training system. 

For the past 17 years, he has coached and mentored other business owners through the BNI (Business Networks International) Organization as a certified Director Consultant.  The BNI organization is designed to assist small business owners to grow their businesses by referral marketing, the best way to grow business.

I have been a keynote speaker in various venues throughout the SF Bay Area.  I have also spoken at the State and Nation capital's Real Estate meetings as a keynote speaker.  I also enjoy singing and have performed in various venues in the Eastbay with a singing group and for many years has done his own solo show every December up on Temple Hill in Oakland.

I have been married to the world’s most wonderful woman for 35 years and has 3 children (all through college…yeah!!) and 2 dogs and lives in Fremont.
